I was given this commission for a painting by a client who is a bit of a movie buff. He recently relocated to a new apartment and wanted something for his living room wall. He decided on the three breeds of dogs he has had over the years watching movies with him. I gave him the idea of a bit of cosplay and the painting took off from there. So here is a bassett hound, a dalmatian, and a shih tzu dressed up as his favorite characters from movies and TV, watching movies. Can you guess who they are supposed to be? (Two of them are pretty easy, but the third...?)
I have to say, this painting was one of the funnest paintings I have ever had the pleasure to work on. It's just such a fun idea and I am glad he chose me to make this piece a reality.
