A little less than a year ago I started this painting while attending what would become the final Fantasy Artist Illustration Intensive Workshop in Milwaukee, WI, put on by Jeff Miracola and his wife, Aaron Miller, Steve Prescott, and Howard Lyon along with some esteemed guest artists and Art Directors. It was an amazing experience. I met so many great people there, made many great friends, learned a ridiculous amount, and created this painting. I know I am not the only artist who is sad to see this workshop come to an end, but I sincerely hope the best for all of those who put it together and wish them great success in their artistic journeys.

After the workshop, I moved to a different state, and had my new studio flood, twice. Needless to say, the journey to completing this painting was a long and arduous one, but I am quite happy with it.
