This is my largest drawing to date. I had this idea while exploring the form and function of demonology of the classic group of cultists summoning a large creature from the Abyss and I wanted to try to capture the exact moment of arrival. The candles have all been blown out and the demon is weakened from it's interdimensional travel and trying to stand up, smoking from the summoning.
